Shazam allow you to identify almost any music track out there. How many times have you been on the road or at the bar and heard a tune and wondered who it was? I used this same type of technology over a year ago on a different Verizon phone. The first thing I did on my DROID was to download Shazam for Android. Wow, am I a happy camper and impressed with what I got. The application is easy and simple to use. Once you launch Shazam you get two choices. Depending on what you want to do, touch either “Tag Now” or “My Tags”.
Put your phone near a speaker and touch “Tag Now” and within seconds Shazam will send the data to a server then send the match back to your phone. It’s pretty cool and quick. Shazam then gives you the choice to download the song from Amazon MP3. It also gives you the option to search YouTube for a video of the song.
This is a must have app for your android phone. One of the best out there.
